Privacy Policy
battleschool is a small educational project. This page explains, in plain language, what we store and why.
What we collect
- Account details you provide: your name and email address.
- Material you upload to your courses, and the text extracted from it.
- Gameplay data: quiz attempts, scores, XP, credits and duel results.
How we use it
We use this data only to run the app: to sign you in, build your courses, generate quizzes, keep score, and show leaderboards. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
AI processing
To create summaries and quizzes, the text of your material is sent to an OpenAI-compatible model provider for processing. It is used to produce your course content and is not used to train models.
Storage
Data is stored on our own database and object storage on a server in Europe. Uploaded files are kept so your course can be rebuilt; you can delete a course to remove them.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can delete your courses and their files at any time. To delete your account entirely, get in touch via the contact page.
Changes
As this is a hobby project, this policy may change. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
